Legislative Compliance

ESOS (Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme) Lead Assessor Services

ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme for organisations in the UK that meet the qualification criteria. Such organisations must carry out ESOS assessments every 4 years. In order to best assist our clients, GM Energy Management have been involved with ESOS from its outset. With an ESOS Lead Assessor in-house we are ideally placed to guide organisations through the entire process.  

ISO 50001 Certification

GM Energy Management will implement the systems and processes necessary to continuously improve energy performance and guide clients through the certification process for ISO 50001, the International Energy Management Standard.  

TM44 Air Conditioning Energy Assessments

All air conditioning systems with an effective rated output of more than 12kw must be regularly inspected by an energy assessor. The inspections must be no more than five years apart.  

Display Energy Certificates

All air conditioning systems with an effective rated output of more than 12kw must be regularly inspected by an energy assessor. The inspections must be no more than five years apart.  

Commercial Energy Performance Certificates

A Commercial EPC rates how energy efficient your building is using grades from A to G (with A being the most efficient). Building owners must have a current EPC if: 

  • You rent or sell the premises. 
  • A new building under construction is finished. 
  • There are changes to a number of parts used for separate occupation and these changes involve providing or extending fixed heating, air conditioning or mechanical ventilation systems.
